During the last 3 years, Maconaquah Middle School went through an extensive process of changing our grading system to a standards-based reporting format. Last year this format was piloted in the core subjects. Teachers used scales and benchmark assessments to better measure and track student learning in the classroom. I am proud of the teacher's dedication to this process. During the 2019-2020 school year, all classes will be graded using a 0-4 based on the scales developed over the last few years. To help you learn more about the standards-based reporting system we have created and posted 4 videos. Scales for each course will be posted at the same link. Copy and pasted the link below in your address bar to view these informational videos and scales. You can also view the information in written form in the 2019-2020 student handbook.
